Amnon Safran is the company's general manager and is responsible for the investment policies of Leader Real Estate Europe. Mr. Safran has been active in the real estate market for over fifteen years, leading a number of sizeable commercial development projects. Prior to Leader, Mr. Safran was the CEO of "Amor Investments", a company investing in income-generating properties in Israel and abroad, owned by Bank Hapoalim and a number of pension funds. The company was sold in August 2005, during Mr. Safran's tenure, to the Aloney Chez group for a price of US $ 212M. Prior to that, Mr. Safran has held for six years the position of CEO for Polar Real Estate, a company operating in residential real estate in Israel, Eastern Europe and the United States. Prior to that, Mr. Safran served a five-year tenure as the CEO of Housing and Development, Israel's second-largest property development company. Prior to his entry into the private sector, Mr. Safran worked for the Israel Finance Ministry and was in charge of budgeting activities for various government offices, including housing and development, immigrant absorption, Israel Land authority, management planning of the Ministry of the Interiors.
