Korean Global IT Fund
Following the launch of Korean Global IT Fund (KGIF), a new VC fund initiated by the Korean Ministry of Communications, SFG was chosen from among a number of high-profile international VC management companies to act as international managing partner of the Fund. The Fund's primary mandate is to invest in Korean and Korean-related technology ventures, exposing these technologies to US capital markets. The Fund manages $120 million and among its investors are the Korean Ministry of Communications, Samsung Life Insurance, the Korean Development Bank and STIC.
